覆羽亦称“雨篷”，是羽翼的组成部分。

简介

初列覆羽遮住主翼羽，大覆羽盖住副翼羽，而中翼羽盖着大覆羽并与之共同保护副翼羽。前三者上面所密生的短毛，为小覆羽。也由此可以分为分为初列覆羽、大覆羽、中覆羽和小覆羽四部分。
